I'll be checking out both of these chairs next week and if any of you have personal experience and wouldn't mind sharing I'd appreciate it greatly!īasically I'm looking for opinions on which of these you would choose over the other. It's so old that repairing is no longer cost effective. I've had a basic as basic can get Quantum 6000z with tilt since 2009. But on steep ramps check your footplates to see if scrub ground on curb cuts or ramps, especially if you need backup/descend ramp in van. I pretty much guess when scroll to different modes as well as seating control functions then moving joystick to see which function is in use.Īlso, I'm guessing your Z may have these problems and use to it. It may be me but but joystick screen is hard to see in sunlight. That might help and think, not checked lately but Quantum has as add-on backpack holders that mount to push bar, as well as a accessory bar for back of chair as option that could be used hopefully to cut down wear and tear on foam padding on push handles. I think Pride/Quantum has changed setting system as far as to add pouches and such to seating sides, has their own backpack as option and armrest have rail system now, too. And I'll certainly let you know how I feel about them after! Just thought about it, A member from WCJ before it closed sent me some fasteners that is used on rail system to add some pouches for Mama's C350. I'll check to see what type of foam they use for sure. I currently leave a trail of foam from my arm rests. I wonder if programing could speed them up. Yeah, the actuators did seem slow in the videos.
