Why? Some minor settlements have walls XDīut honestly. With the minor settlement battles coming, not having walls will be much less of a kick in the shins, and I think Norsca will be fine without them. I mean the Greenskins can so why can't Norsca? I guess we can just go the youtuber Tariff's route and just call them grug brain rock eaters but Norscans should be able to build walls. Overall I do hope this changes it really was a bad choice then, was a bad choice to maintain the idea and now an even worse fact that it seems to still be present in warhammer 3.

Again why wouldn't they have walls to make sure the big bad things that the Norscans on occasion overcome don't have free reign to kill them? Its just Dumb logic. Why wouldn't they? - literally they live in one if not the most harshest environments in this pit of dread that is the Warhammer universe and is occupied by monsters and madmen that would eat them as quickly as sacrifice them to the dark gods. Walls ontop of the Environmental hazards should be the challenge offered to invaders but without walls you can bumrush and royally screw up Norscas already crap economy or they can literally be occupied to the fullest extent.Ĥ. I've seen Norsca go up in flames a number of times because Brettonia with their no attrition tech for winter enviorments ream Norsca to the ground.

With Warhammer 2 people can settle in Norsca but its really uncomfortable fior some but for others it doesn't really matter. Environment ain't really a deterrent - Norsca originally got set up with the idea you can't actually settle it unless your Norsca. Walls again allow for more resource mobility/consolidation and thus gives you the time and safety net to develop your provinces and the militarily to secure yourself.ģ.

Including those needed bodies to throw into the Southerners. Norsca's economy sucks - Given how Norsca is mainly a raiding and pillaging faction you can't exactly dedicate alot of manpower to guard the homeland as stated before or else you wont even be able to fund the development of it to make it self sustaining. Overall ya can't consistently patrol and police Norsca efficiently unless your in the Latter half of mid or late game.Ģ.

Having walls helps secure places you can't be in and allows the Norscans to raid as opposed to recruiting a new lord everytime some rando comes stomping by and it takes ya 5-6 turns just to get there. But given how easy it is to unite Norsca, means the quicker it is for you to have a target on your back and from many angles. Norsca is a big place - Uniting Norsca can be a relatively quick endeavor (quickest for me is 12 turns) with a bit of luck and placement. Because at the moment Norsca lacking walls is a big drawback from a gameplay perspective and while some may argue for the Ogres that it isn't needed for them, the Norscans defiantly should get the ability to build walled settlements and here are some reasons as to why from experience in warhammer 1 and 2.ġ. Given how CA seems to have made it clear that Norsca won't be having walls again I wanted to make an appeal before launch date.
